Not quite sure I follow you? Is the idea I first buy an R1150R ? By the time I have spent the money (I don't have) to buy a R1150R, I would have had to sell the 1100. And I am sitting in the gramadoelas and not a mechanic... But thanks for the good idea. (And let me know if I misunderstood you).

Thank you, great idea!  Murphy's Law the bike is not with me at the moment... But I was mainly wondering if its suspension could be lowered because it's such an old bike. Still in great condition and I have had many people beg to buy it.  My guess is that I won't ever get for it what it's worth...
