Curious to know what sort of fuel consumption you guys get highway riding, with a 20L tank can you get 400km/ tank ?

So the missus is keen on doing a Europe Tour and camping to really enjoy the scenery especially in Switzerland so i thought we had better have a test run or 2 in SA first, please can some of you share pics of your loaded bike and what you've packed, i'm still trying to decide on the air mattress...

So i'm ready to purchase a new bike and from what i can understand is that the 700 is more road orrientated, lower, alloy rims etc. and the 800 is better for off road given the tubed tyres, larger front wheel, better suspension. Is that basically it ? Is the 700 still a capable gravel road bike...

My wife has me registered so that she can look up my location ( provided my phone is on  ;D ) which isn't very accurate. I was wondering if there is anything on the market whereby every hour or so it would record my location so that when i'm doing my solo trips the wifey and friends could check...

I’m looking at a 2010 KLR650 tomorrow with 35000km on the clock and it hasn't had the doo done, i'm told it has just had a major service and shims were done. Anything I should be weary about, will it cost alot to do the doo at this stage? Thanks guys.

Is it possible when using google earth to for example select a point at the bottom of Sani Pass and a point at the top and get a path created following the road to join them ? This putting a point down every 50m to draw my path is taking forever  :'(
