Slight hijack, but bat related. We have a problem with fruit bats that buzz around all night and crap (or puke, I'm told) over anything and everything that is outside. If it gets on one's car, it takes a scourer to get it off and is very annoying. Any advice as to prevent this please.

Is this an extra battery, or to replace an existing fubar one? If the latter, much cheaper (and often better) to have it rebuilt. Many places do this.

I keep a spreadsheet of each and every penny spent, as well as a fuel consumption log for both car and bike. I don't read it too often, but go back occasionally to check what I paid for certain items, then compared to now. As @SabreF86 said, fuel consumption is a good indicator of engine...
