I read Taus thread about the Dakar, my first thought was “Sh@$, wish that was me” my second thought was ……….. maybe I,m a bit old in the tooth to go do the Dakar, I know if someone offered me the chance I would go anyway and probably kill myself in the attempt, more through not being fit...

Had one for a while , very nice bike. Tyres have a bearing on handling The exhaust can be an issue I removed mine nicely.......2 into 1 Put on a major bash plate........very nice ride on dirt and tar with good tyre choices

I was there last year, Marakele, I spoke to the guy at the gate, he told me they will let you camp but not to ride around the reserve unless something special is in the offing?? not sure what he meant. The road up to the top of the mountain would be amazing on a bike though..............
