Robert is friend of mine and have known him for many years. He has really looked after his bike, he has always serviced it on time with BMW and has kept it in pristine condition, it has been his baby.. Good luck selling Robert, I am sure it won't be long before someone takes it!

The 690 went for 47K (before VAT and 6% commission) and I think the 640 went for 40K (before VAT and 6% commission). There were bike dealers there that took most of the bikes so no real bargains were to be had. :-(

I got over 7000km on a set of D606. Commuting and dirt on the weekends.

I also have the D606 and my front tire wore exactly how you explained it. I did get good mileage on it though with 7000Km on the front and more on the rear. I thought it was just my riding style and my hard braking, but I guess it is just how they are made. I wouldn't reverse the tire, tires...

I have the US 20 and 5 on my bike all day everyday with spare parts, hammer, tubes etc I have had it on the back for almost a year and so far have not seen any wear or damage and no moisture... Very good kit!

I have D606 on front and back and have done over 7500km. The front is mostly worn out but the back is still good for another 1000 to 2000km. Best tires I ever owned. Best value and good on the road too. I will replace with D606's

I recently (March) put a set on Dunlop 606 on my bike. (KLR) Rear tire size 17. Got them from Adventure MX. Best tires I ever had..

I also have the same setup and get a small amount of vibration but I think that is just a KLR and a single cylinder bike. There will be some form of vibration, I have learnt to live with it... :-(

Full Throttle in Edenvale has the Oxtar Infinities. They only have a few left and they are going at R1600.00. I have had mine for over a year and wear them all day and they still in great shape. Best medium protection boot at a good price. Sven
