I'm more than a year in with mine too. 8000km largely on dodgy dirt roads. No problems to report.

A friend of mine bought one with a rally kit about a month or two ago. There was one on the Fire It Up showroom last week.

The previous 250 V-Strom, that has since been discontinued in SA, was a parallel-twin and designated the DL250 like its 1050 bigger boetie. This new one is the DS250SX V-Strom packs a little adventure punch for just R58,000. If you ask me, that's a damn good price for any adventure machine.
