    Wossner piston: Feed back from those who did it please

    They work. High compression, so lekker power. But they don't last as long as the JE pistons from Eagle Mike or Schnitz. I would rather trust guys that know big bore, long stroke motors (Yanks with V8's) than the overengineered German high revving guys. KLR has similar bore/stroke to a Ford 5l V8.

    Like The Ruffian, I'm not that young anymore, and I've ridden the "more advanced bike" and liked them, but my well-sorted KLR will go where most them can go. And it's about to to get a mid-life refresh.... At only 264 000km...

    I have 3 Fugly's. Groenie bought brand new in 2005 for R37k plus a lot more since then Stofkoei bought for R10k and spent a couple R100 Sareltjie, bought for R27k and had to do major work on it, but had everything in the garage already I have also owned a few new shape ones, but sold them...
