    Weights I quoted were from a google search, not sure how accurate. I think you get my drift. Used a cbx 150x in Indo over Xmas. I don’t think lighter than my 650 however a much easier ride for an old fart

    AS much as I enjoy the smaller bikes and understand that they have a lighter "feel" to them. Cant see the weight bonus when the Hero 200 comes in about 14kg heavier then the Honda 650l ?

    I have done a bit of east Africa on both the 660Tenere and the 650 Honda. Both great bikes but I would vote for the Honda.

    It’s a CB 150x. I don’t think it is available in South Africa. I am renting it in Indo. Powers aside it ticks all the adventure bike boxes.

    Wheel alignment - How to

    Try using a tape measure from swing arm bolt to rear axle bolt, matching both sides ,rather than rely on the notches. Also run a screwdriver between the chain and sprocket. tensioning the chain to remove any play before tightening the axle. Hope it help, works for me.

    I find HD tubes a pain. They also tend to have heating issues if run at low temps.
