I am helping out a friend with a faulty diff,his diff is beyond repair. I managed to get a diff from Nelspruit. Here is my question  .The diff i removed is a 31/11  ratio and the diff from Nelspruit is a 33/11 ratio.. Is it a no go or what difference would it make.?? My friend is a first time...

Does anyone know if a pickup has ever been installed on the rear wheel of a Dakar or rally raid bike to measure the total amount of revolutions the rear wheel does on a typical race day..It would be interesting to see the actual distance the wheel has traveled compared to the roadbook.. :lamer...
