My 1150 Advs' battery is flat, moer toe pap, and I can't get a new one. Yes I can get one from BMW, but I'm not gonna pay the price, ridiculous!
I opened the battery and saw that the plates is bone dry and filled it up with water. I left it on the charger for almost two days on a slow charging cycle. Put it back into the bike this morning and it turned over the bike with ease and everything seems fine.
Did anyone else "refurbished" a gel abttery like this and did it work?
