I asked before on what the sound was and am now sure it's pinging.however,i havnt found a solution yet.i couldn't get a hotter plug,so naturally replaced it with the same one specified by bmw.
What could be the cause of the pinging,and is it at all possible to set the timing on these bikes? It wouldnd bother me if it only appeared at high load at low revs, but it pings at 120 in 6th and some times in 5th!! I don't think this is normal? Any takes?
