My rear disk has excessive movement , looks like the rivet has worn , Is it worth trying to ' PRESS THE RIVET" or replace ? bike has 60k kilos.
I stripped the bike this weekend in preparation for the service , cleaning everything , have to wash all the chain lube from around the front sprocket . I thought the clicking noise was from the chain guide , it is worn , but is still servable , My son pointes out that its the disk making the noise , he said that they used to use a ball bearing to press the rivet , but in some cases the rivet cracked , and its better to fit new . Just want to get some more info from owners here , re try to extend the live or fit new and be done . I must say , I am not heavy on the rear brake , but apparently the ABS still has influence on the rear even if you dont physically apply the brake .
