The Bundu Bash is a ride started by a group of friends from Pmb and it has grown into an annual event.
The 11th consecutive ride is taking place on Saturday 12th December. We will be leaving from the Karkloof Polo Club at 07h30 and then heading off in the direction of CraigieBurn Dam on towards Muden, through Darkest Africa and ending up at Zingela Lodge on the Tugela River where we will spend the night. The route is almost all offroad, comprising of dual tracks, single track, farm road and some nice technical rocky sections.
The ride is primarily aimed at guys on plastics but guys on dual sports are welcome, but don't bring your new 990 and then complain about the route, it is technical.
it will be a whole day ride, we will be stopping along the way for breakfast and lunch, so bring something to eat. There will also be the odd shebeen visit along the way. the plan is to get to Zingela by 17h00, so it will be a whole day's ride.
There will be quite a few guys not staying over at Zingela, there are places to turn back to Pmb along the way.
Anyone is welcome to come along, just realize that it will be a big group and there will be lots of stopping along the way.
