This Star Trek thing they bolted to the back of the 1200 always bothered me, just don't like the thing. Got this fancy bracket from Topbox. It's excellent quality, plastic coated handles and steel supports. It's much stronger than the BMW plastic thing sits lower on the bike. The kappa 42L box is about the best size for everyday use.
