Bought an 890 R on August 18th and put just over 6000 miles (9600 kms) on it in 10 weeks.
Longest ride 14 hours, just over 700 miles (1100 kms) in one day.
It has seen deep sand, deep clay, rocks, water, highways, sub-zero temperatures, everything I could throw at it so far.
Only limitation has been me.
It has not missed a beat other than the "common" cold start issue.
Stock apart from going to the rally seat. Much better.
On the 3rd TKC 80 on the rear. (50% left)
Original Motoralz on the front. (35% left)
Fuel consumption from 0 miles has been:
Average: 44.96mpg (21.79 km/liter)
Best: 52.99mpg (25.69 km/liter)
Worst: 32.31mpg (15.66 km/liter)
Awesome machine. Closest thing I've had yet to my ideal adventure bike.
