Final corner near the bottom of the Pass, where Buff was waiting for me.

Come now guys....own up....... I'm very sure we can all agree that the KTM boys & a certain Husky had something to do with these Frikking loooooooong "ROOST" marks left here on the exit of this corner.... :patch: :patch: :pot:  >:D >:D ;D You guys must've been pretty thirsty. ;D

I think it was just their way of showing us trailing guys, in which direction to ride :ricky: :lol8: :lol8: :lol8:

Finally arriving @ the little Kaffe' for something cold.

Thanks bud, I kinda like that pic as well. I still  :drif: when I see my own bike, I think I might have a problem  :-[ ;D

Once we'd finished our "something cold",..... we once again mounted our Steeds & headed out of Wuppertal in the direction of the "Pakhuis Pass"left above Clanwilliam, where we all refueled (both for the bikes & our very hungry stomachs). This last stretch towards Clanwilliam & then again the final stretch back home, I never took too many more photos as I was just taking in all the nice scenery along the way while riding & also had my helmet camera rolling.

Here's a few shots of the view of the Pass (on the other side of Wuppertal) we came down & Buff as he's just about to pass me.

While continuing on the really Gr8 roads out of Wuppertal, I found myself "Slightly Over Cooking" one of the corners. This section of roads we were travelling on, on our way towards the "Pakhuis Pass", really are in Gr8 condition & do indeed beg of you......to "push your boundaries" just a little  >:D >:D >:D every now & then.......well in the case of those 2 KTM boys & the Husky...... ALL Of the Time >:D >:D :pot: ;D

My little "Off-Road" excursion was a combination of......me heading a little too fast into that corner (I shall not divulge that "exact info", for fear of SWAMBO reading this thread ::) ::) ;D) , then getting ready to get the backside out a bit :ricky: ;D,..... then this dude in a bakkie screwed up my plans by getting to the corner @ the same time as me , which left me with 2 choices: (1.) Either continue with my plan & risk the chance of clipping the bakkie with my front wheel, or (2.) Find an escape route & keep control >:D...... I opted for option (2.) :lol8: :lol8:

Here are a few screenshots of what went down:

BTW.....If you look carefully.... you can see tracks of "someone else" that also Over-Cooked the corner. Now I cannot help myself in thinking it was either the results of a "KTM or a Husky" rider...... >:D >:D ;D :pot: :pot:
I wonder if anyone will own up to the evidence..... :patch: :patch: ;D :imaposer: perhaps a similar incident to what happened on KatBakkies Pass.... :pot: :pot:

I'm Just asking ;) :imaposer: :imaposer:

Could hear the sweet sound of the S10's zorst coming around the corner,... so I thought it'll be better to let him pass, before I climbed back onto the road & continue.. :ricky:

Those excursion marks were none of us...

We were actually with Doug there and riding conservatively when we also saw them.
Must have been a weekend warrior?

Enjoying your posts BIO!!!

Can you upload video?

Cheers

I was kinda hoping for another video clip from RR,.... showing us how it should be done. >:D ;D ;D

Eish Buddy,.... I really need a little help w.r.t. uploading videos. Never done it before. ;) I've just been taking some screenshots out of some of the almost 43GB worth of video footage I shot. ;D

Quick regroup on top of yet another GR8 lookout section. We truly are blessed with some Frikking Awesome places to ride, here in the WC!!! :thumleft: :thumleft:

Mambat giving DougC a "High Five" for some really Gr8 riding. Doug, my friend you ride that KLR like a Pro :thumleft: :thumleft:

There is one thing I really appreciated about this trip, is the "Gr8 advise, positive pointer & constructive criticism" that was given by the guys that know their stuff & are more than willing to share some of their experience & knowledge with others. :thumleft: :thumleft:

Another regroup @ the end of the last gravel road, before we turn left towards Clanwilliam via Pakhuis Pass (SADLY all tar... :'( )

BTW Buff,.... I have watched the entire (continuous) video I shot of that last section, from our last stop to this one..... & I seriously cannot find you or your bike anywhere along that road.....I don't where you were hiding away :patch: :patch: :patch: You defiantly left on ahead of us to find a spot to get some shots of us & you got to us @ the end of the road last.

Was it a simple case of your GoPro running as far away as possible as the GS approached,.... for fear of almost being "Run Over" again :lol8: :lol8: :lol8: Ooooppppsss :imaposer: :imaposer:

;) >:D ;D

Next time you should join us..... will be Gr8 to get another S10 riding with :ricky: :ricky:

Heading off towards Pakhuis Pass, you are greeted by some nice scenery of the various surounding mountains as well as some nice long sweeping corners. Realy pity though, that this road is made up of that "Horrible Black Tar" :( :( Wouldv'e been soooooo much better if it were Gravel >:D :thumleft:

A few more shots, before we reach Clanwilliam. stopped @ the Shell Garage to fill up our bike & then headed off to find a place to have some chow..... cause all of us had by now, built up quite an appetite after the morning's ride.

Here @ the Garage we met a fellow WD, "SuperDavexlv750r" from JHB, filling his AT. He decided to join us on our journey back to CT.

:spitcoffee: Dave,.... I think that short section of sand, caught all of us off gaurd a little.  :imaposer: :imaposer: One thing is for sure though..... both you & Mambat sure held your stuff together & pulled through....leaving a nicely "ploughed" up sand pit behind, for the rest of us to follow :imaposer: :imaposer: :thumleft:

Thanks for that video, Buddy ;) :thumleft:
