2-up and camping

I need some advice on sleeping arrangement when traveling 2 up and camping.
What do you use?

I do believe that the first trip should be an all-out trip....if wife does not like first one then it will also be the last.
My wife is a "regte boere meisie van die plaas" so no fancy's necessary, but I know she gets grumpy if she did not have a good nights sleep
