Family friends are selling their bikes, in pursuit of their preferred motoring pathway, classic cars.
They are not adventurous riders in the least. Their bikes have seen little more than the odd country road.
Up for grabs is a 2004 BMW Dakar, with 76,547km on the clock.
The main pivot bush for the rear suspension has been refurbished with genuine BMW parts, and the heated grips have been replaced.
Keith Muller of Deutsche Auto Tech (KZN) was responsible for all maintenance of the bike with the current owner.
The previous owner used it for commuting, and some road trips.
Issues: Minor fork seal leaks, some body scratches (it's an adventure bike), and a small tear on the rear seat.
The bike is located in Hilton, KZN.
Please contact Glenn Read directly, on 082 870 3014.
Yours for R40k.
