Hello All
Its with sadness and a fair bit of shame that I have to admit defeat with this project.
The Bike is a 2007 Model BMW R1200S. Awesome base for this idea.
The idea was to build a cafe type track bike with fiberglass fairings and also do an extremely noise exhaust to fit the look.
The initial plan was something like the below.
To date I have completed the fiberglass work for the front fairing, headlight and instrument mounts, mounts for the bike computer goodies under the fairing and new LED headlight.
The idea was to build a subframe and seat assembly in the same style, but I just don't have time for this project any more.
The bike is 100% mechanical, running like a dream (mechanically nothing to do except a service, I have a service manual as well). Low milage bike. New Battery (that has run flat in the meantime).
Also have a big box of goodies, mirrors, lights etc. for you to play with.
