Up for sale is my 2007 chassis, 2003 motor Yamaha WR250F. There is a full build thread where I bought what I thought was a munted 03 to rebuild but found the motor was mint and the rest was a bit tired. Spent some coin building the 03 back up to its former glory mechanically and then an 07 with a broken motor popped up on FBM. Made the guy a silly offer and he accepted it so I put the 03 motor in the 07 and transferred over the items I'd already bought.
I've used it for parklands quarry runs and funduros. Only issue I've ever had was the clutch cable snapped leaving me stranded a km or so from the end of a funduro but knee deep in mud so I couldnt get moving. Otherwise starts when cold, idles happily when cold.
so 07/03 WR250F with:
1.) Enduro Engineering handguards
2.) Enduro Engineering front disk protector
3.) aluminium bash guard
4.) GYTR exhaust
5.) nithrone seat
6.) front + back tyres are good! (check pics) no smileys in rims.
7.) chain and sprockets are good!
8.) new tank plastics + side plastics. The previous owner somehow lost these when he took the whole thing apart and unfortunately UFO plastics sent white ones. Was always planning on a putting on a sticker kit anyway
9.) front fork seals + oil recently done.
10.) zeta shorty clutch lever
Extras:
1.) 3x air filters
2.) 2x air filter cages
3.) bolt pack
4.) 10l jerry for fuel
5.) air filter oil
6.) chain lube
7.) hour meter, never fitted so new in packaging
8.) 2 sets of front brake pads
9.) fork oil
10.) set of tie down straps
11.) chain cleaning brush
12.) bike stand
13.) funnel
Any one is welcome to pop over and do any test they like (I have a compression tester), Im in CT in the northen suburbs.
It's on FBM for R25k but will take R20k if a wdog buys it. PM for any questions/interest. I'm emigrating soon so need to sell
