I see on advrider in the parallel universe section that a chap has remapped his 750 to 850 spec. See his comment below:
Remapping GS750 UPDATE:
DONE! My dealer Max BMW did the deed and I rode it for the first time yesterday. “Power to the People”
I definitely felt more snap in the throttle and overall a lot more power. Max rode it back to back with the 850 and said he thought the remap was quicker. Unfortunately the weather here has turned back to crap. As soon as the roads clear up I will be able to do back to back riding with the other 2019 GS750 in the garage that has not been updated. I will post as soon as I am able.
