Hi Guys
As some off you know, i went to the Oasis Spitbraai last weekend and got stuck about 10km from the camp site with a broken fuel pump. With some help from very nice friends i got it back to the camp site. Them the experts told me to just gravity feed till i get home, and then fix it. All went well home, yesterday a got a Facet 40171 pump and installed it. Did the power connection and the Facet also dead. So from the start it was a power problem. So a traced all the wires, the brown – blue/black wire going from the pump to the fuel pump relay all got continuity , then from their (same relay) a black/yellow going to the fuse box also continuity, and from than same relay a blue/grey one going to the ECU also continuity. So the only thing I cannot test is the ECU. So can you please help me out and let me know if only the one line for the pump can be damage inside the ECU.
