Went for a ride earlier today, came back and parked the bike. This evening I decided to wash the girl quickly and when I started her up I was greeting with enough smoke to think that something was on fire. I had her run for a few minutes and then took her around the block where the smoke got less and less. Maybe just a tad under de-cell. I'm 90% convinced its not the rings.
Apparently its common to have a crank case breathing issue, into the air box and ultimately into one of the carbs. This obviously causes the smoke.
Is there a quick fix?
