Have a look at this kit sold in Aus for reversing the flow of fuel for a few seconds on shutdown.

Their reasoning is that it keeps the dreaded filters clean by flushing the crud off them.
My thinking tells me the crud is then floating back in the tanks to be re-sucked into the filters?
They are sold by a very reputable outfit in Aus Dalby Motos who I cannot imagine selling
