990ADV vs 950SE vs 690(full kit)

So here is a topic I'm sure has been discussed into oblivion? WHAT TO BUY BETWEEN THESE BIKES? Yes I know they are for different purposes...so let me rather tell you what I want to do with it...

I come from a enduro/offroad background. Keen on packing a tent and some dirty undies and head into the mountains, up and down the West coast (as I have done this with a WR450 from up the WC to Hopefield and loved it!) etc etc...
What I've heard:

690: Awesome but kak to ride on tar
950SE: Awesoem on gravel sand , but even kak(er) on tar. Wind and weaves quite badly
990ADV: Apparently the thing to buy

Take in mind I want something that you can RIDE in sand, dirt mountaibns etc etc

So any advise? (preferably from people that has ridden one or all of the above...
