Not really BLK. There was one incident on the trip, towards the end of the last video where I experienced some resistance climbing a steep hill with very deep rut. The 990 S definitely has better clearance in these situations. Not because of width, but ground clearanceBLK said:Some tricky narrow paths you were riding there. It looks like the 790 can struggle a little when the paths are thin and tight and a little restrictive.A bit like a GS boxer motor getting stuck? Is there any where Mark won't take you?
Best videos of trail riding to date.
Thks again.
Thank you!Stichhom said:Great ride report Noneking. I enjoyed it and can only dream of this of type of nature riding. How does Harry know about all these routes? Those steep inclines and declines look easy on camera, but the real thing is another animal. It seems as if an older bike for this type of technical riding is more appropriate, meaning not to be that hard on a new bike getting hammered on this type of very difficult terrain.
I think it is time to change your name to "Orange King" ... well done and thank you for an enjoyable read. Regards.

Lovely video of Ruts, Rocks, Rivers & Sand :thumleft:
Tough route, again NK, handled quite easily by you guys 8)
Little suggestion from a video perspective - Whilst Mark is the route guru and highly experienced front runner, why don't you guys consider swopping front riders ( in front of you as video man ) from time to time with mates in the pack, so that all of them can feature a bit on the footage
Eagerly awaiting the rest of this great report.
I suppose you guys are sick of looking at [member=4453]Just Blip It![/member] 's backside in all my videos, heaven knows I am....... ot:
The simple answer is that that's how we ride eepwall:. Mark and I ride hotdog on a lot of the rides and we mostly manage a similar pace. That keeps me out of the dust and keeps the pace high. Mark knows exactly what to expect from me behind him and visa versa. We are also connected via comms and falling back drops the link. On slower tech rides where I will often fall back in the group to film other riders.
Cool, so you guys have it sussed :thumleft: Nah, not Mark's backside is the issue :laughing4:.......more to see some of the other ous riding with you as well

I used to own a camera, but my videos were too boring. Will have to make a plan to contribute to NK's videos other than my sexy highly photogenic ***!
