I am thinking of riding up to moz for a few days. The idea so far is to ride up to Pomene, where a group of mates are having some sort of family gathering. So I am planniing on going to stop by for a day or two. I am not looking for a complete off road out the way adventure, purely because i dont have the time for it, otherwise that is exactly what I would be doing.
I am wanting to know if anyone has been up that way lately and know what the roads are like, how much sand is there to ride?? I know moz has as much sand as you could want, though I am riding the +200kg XTZ750 Super Tenere and dont want to be riding 100kms of deep soft sand if I can help it.
And are there any decent camp sites along the way??
