Advice for first solo Africa trip

Hey guys, I'm heading off for a solo ride up to central Africa and back for the first time, leaving early July. How are border crossings at the moment with Covid, do any countries need visas?

I've never ridden anyway outside of SA and south Nambia before and still pretty new to riding.

Any tips, warnings, rotues and general know how would be greatly appreciated. Tia
