What would handle short 250m commutes better, 2 or 4 stroke ? My wife needs to get to work I cannot always drop her off, car will get a flat battery and walking is just too dangerous in this country, witnessed a smash and grab right in front of me today 
Obviously a scooter is the way to go. Any suggestions ? Nothing fancy this is purely to get to work and back with space for a handbag / helmet.
