I am planning a round trip from Walvisbay , through Botswana, Pretoria , down to PE , Cape Town and back to Walvisbay during May of 2012. The only area which I am not familiar with is the part down the western side of Lesotho towards the coast. I have read about routes through Swaershoek Pass , Zuurberg pass etc. Could anyone please give me some advice on these places. I will be doing it solo at this point so would not want anything too technical with the risk of mishaps etc. At this point the idea is to go from PTA -Secunda-Cradock and from there to PE/UItenhage area . I would appreciate any advice if this route would be suitable to do solo. Also where to stay etc will be good. Of course , even better if someone would be interested in joining?
