Took my HP for a ride this afternoon. Put it in neutral stopping in from of garage blipped the throttle once or twice..... Next moment a big POP and motor dies. Thought it was a backfire, but when I tried to start it again, it would not fire up. Motor sounded funny on left side and on closer inspection I noted that metal contraption at end of large rubber pipe from air box to left cylinder "popped" out at rubber entrance to cylinder.
AS YOU CAN SEE FROM MY DESCRIPTION I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ENGINS OR MECHANICAL STUFF.
Why did this happen?
How do I fix it? Clamp looks like nothing I've seen before.....
Something to worry about.
Photo below shows the metal part that fits into rubber aligned but not inserted.
