Africa Bike Week™ is set to take place in Margate, South Africa from 24th – 27th April 2010 and is not to be missed. The event is set to attract more than 5 000 Harley-Davidson® motorcycle riders and 40 000 visitors from all over the world. Entry to this event is free and no bookings are required.
The event is open to all bikers in search of a South African adventure. The fun is not limited to Harley-Davidson® riders. Participants arriving in Margate can look forward to a jam-packed line-up of happenings including traders markets and live entertainment for the whole family.
The programme features live bands, non-stop street parties, VIP lounges and bars, a ride-in bike show and culminates in a mass ride out which will include a Parade of Flags. Event and H.O.G.® merchandise will also be on sale.
At Africa Bike Week™ people of all ages can get up close and personal with Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. The rally provides an opportunity for H.O.G.® members to meet and interact with riders and other H.O.G.® members from all over the world.
Africa bike week tour 21st April to 27th April 2010
Day 1
21st we will all meet at the train station in Cape Town at 15:00 to load the bikes on the train and we will depart at 18:00.
Day 2
Have one big party on the train to Durban
Day 3
Friday the 23rd we will arrive in Durban at 07:45 and will offload the bikes and drive to Margate, PARADISE HOLIDAY RESORT.

We will get settled and then go to the venue in Margate for the party to start, we will do this in the form of a parade as we will be 20 bikes at least. We will show our collars with pride.
TAKE NOTE THAT THIS IS SELF CATERING AS EVERYBODDY WIL PROBABLY BE EATING AT THEN RALLY
Day 4 and 5
We will take part in the festivities in Margate.
Day 6
08:00 will leave on a nice ride to East London where we will spend the night.
Day 7
08:00 will leave after breakfast to Mosselbay where we will spend the night.
Day 8
08:00 will leave for Cape Town after breakfast.

We might be able to negotiate with the train and the hotels on the way back to include the breakfasts but this will depend on numbers.
