After following the brilliant "XR 500 bedroom rebuild" I thought I would post some pics and progress on my AT refurb on the forum. I wasn't planning to do this up front so don't have the amount of pics I would like to have however, for those interested here goes:
I bought my AT from a friend that was emigrating to Os last year in October. Its a 1998 VRX with 32 000 kms on the clock, been regularly serviced and doesnt use any oil. The motor is really quiet! ;D. I decided to do a cosmetic refurb on the AT basically because I have an eye for detail and would like the bike to be nothing less than splendid ! :thumleft: Used it on a couple of medium trips and absolutely love it! :biggrin:
Been busy with this project for 6 months now......... really only have Mondays (my day off) to work on the bike and the odd half Saturday. So, the pics will dribble in. A few pics before the strip.
