The history of the bike;
I bought it for a guy on the understanding that he can use it as long as his wife is in my employ. Six years later and the bike is returned in a neglected state. It was used for maybe two years and then it was left in a garage with no maintenance for about 4 years.
I fitted a new battery and the bike starts, idles and goes. I took it for a quick 20km ride and it feels like the carbs may need some attention.
There is quite a bit of surface rust that will need to be cleaned off.
The fairing is cracked and there are some scratches on the rest of the bodywork.
Extras are
- Touring screen
- Crash bars
- Aftermarket exhaust
I am selling it as is, a nice easy project to restore this 'legend'. They are getting scarcer by the day.
