The bearings in the steering neck of my bike have seen their arse ! I noticed this recently when I was changing the front tyre , it seems as if there is a notch in the middle and then there is free play to the sides and then when I bring the handlebars back to 12 o'clock it clicks in !
Are these bearings expensive , do they really affect you badly offroad , could this be the reason I don't feel 100% in control ??? and how difficult will it be to replace them myself ??
How often do they need replacement ?? :-\
