V twin, flat twin,parrallel twin,boxer, my twin, your twin

whats the difference between all these diiferent kinds of twins.

Some guys prefer some above the other. I know the boxer has a lower centre of gravity but sticks out abit................

anyone care to shed some light to this single cylinder bloke???
