Morning all,
as you know, Due to not reaching the numbers required, it is with great regret that we had to cancel the final qualifier in Patensie. We also have no time left to set another qualifier in the various provinces due to the advanced stage of planning for the main event.
Sooooo...
After some deliberation on how to solve the late entry issue, the following has been decided, and will be posted everywhere.
Entry Requirements (Update):
-> How do I enter?
There are pre-screening events called 'Qualifiers' in the 12 months prior to the event. You need to complete one of these successfully.
If you are unable to attend any of these you may still register, but your status will be 'Unqualified'. A day prior to the Amageza Rally, there will be a time-trial for all unqualified entrants. You will have to complete the course in the time-limit imposed.
If successful, you will be 'Qualified' and may continue with registration. You will be required to pay the full entrance fee for the event before the cut-off time for entries, similar to qualified entrants. The cut-off time for the 2012 event is 1 March 2012.
In the event that you do not complete the time-trial successfully, you will not be allowed to start the rally, but may still attend the event as a non-entrant. Your entrance fee will be forfeited.
So just pay your entry fees, and we'll see you at the time-trial. We will keep in contact with you, and ensure you know where to go for the trial on Friday the 27th April. Keep your eye on the website, and forum.
