Bachelor Dog
It is that time of the year again!
This year the Annual National Wild Dog Bash will be held at Transboegoe Eco Resort near Groblershoop in the Northern Cape.
GPS Waypoints: S29 02.798 E22 12.066
Date: 13 to 15 November 2009
The venue is almost exactly halfway between anywhere and everywhere so it is quite central. The Natal dogs will have to ride the furthest (To say nothing of the Windoek dogs and those accross the waters) but we promise to favour the Bananaboys in the near future.
Port Elizabeth to Boegoeberg = 788km
Midrand to Boegoeberg = 814km
Cape Town to Boegoeberg = 822km
East London = 827km
Durban to Boegoeberg = 1116km
The reason for the choice in venue is the abundant facilities and reasonably equal distance to major cities.
There will be clean toilets, a cash bar for the grownups, nearby town, big dam for angling and perhaps even a visit from the 2010 PAW Calendar girls!
We have negotiated a rock-bottom price for participants. R350 (cheap!).
