Has anybody found a direct, non BMW replacement for this unit? The Original BMW equipment VDU unit (made in mexico) is just a waste. The definition of an idiot is someone who does the same thing twice and expecting a different outcome - so here goes........I have found a reference for possible direct replacements, this from the 4 wheeler world - see pictures below. Has anybody tried one of these and if so what was the outcome? - here is shooting in the dark..!!!!.
