On a recent trip my 2007 Fugly blew a main fuse. I replaced it, in the hope that it was an isolated incident, but she blew another 2 fuses since. I realised I had to check wires and connections.
Last night whilst cleaning, reconnecting and isolation-taping, I found this black/yellow wire under the tank near the CDI. I believe I have identified the wire - it is an earth (circled in the diagram). I just cannot find the placed where it was earthed on the frame.
Will any earth do? I currently have it bolted on with the wire guide on the left side of the frame. Do you think this is the cause for my main fuse failing?
Thanks in advance
