I moved to George during 1998. I bought my very first bike a year ago. I had to do a lot of explaining to Mrs. Raider, and even Mother in law, who was in the area during her annual visit!! They eventually accepted that biking could reduce the stress levels, save fuel etc. etc!!
I thoroughly enjoy biking in probably one of the best areas, to do so. I know some of the other forum members, who will be referred to in my first ride report, in the not so distant future. The interesting thing is that my bike, a Kawasaki KLE 500, was shown in one of the ride report pictures, long before I joined the forum!
Our ultimate aim in George? We intend banning all the "cages" (as you guys call them) from our roads! It wil be great to have an exclusive bikers city (George used to be a town at some stage). Enough said... Happy to eventually be a member, and looking forward to many more great riding reports.
