@Tampan look around on the bikehub for forks (front) and shocks (rear) if you need.
I didn't realize your frame was a 26" but there are many good deals for forks on the hub - it doesnt have to be new (which are fok expensive)

Cogent Industries are by far the best for servicing suspensions - they're in Pta east. You can courier your bits to them

You also wont get much for a 26" bike anymore if you try sell it, everyone wants the 29ers instead. Rather keep it for the kids or put on a 120mm 27.5" fork and mullet it around the single stuff

Cogent are apparently great but they will NEVER answer an email, EVER.

My bike is a 26" frame with a 140mm 29" fork. My frame does fit a 27.5" rear wheel though. It worth checking what your bike will take.

Nope, they wont. Ever.
That's why they have a sophisticated booking system on their website instead.

Phone them rather, you'll be surprised.

I race xc, no need for a mullet there

Speaking of, I see my rear shock seems to have a slight leak. I adjusted it the other day and my hand was full of oil.
It's not dripping, but definitely "seating' oil

Where can one send a shock/fork for a proper service?
I had both front and rear done at RBC last year. ( Robbie Bicycle Concept in PE ) They'll also tweak your shocks internals to suit your riding style. I was super super impressed with the work done. Robbie Powell is highly recommendable...we've spoken of this here somewhere before.

Thats good value. I love the dropper post.
Never knew about it but sure a very convenient feature on a MTB

I am leaning towards that secondhand 27.5 Salsa here in Marysville at $500 but will have to wait for the next pay period.
In the meanwhile Freddy is enjoying his new bike to bits 😆

Tom.

Ek wil graag ry want fietsry maak nie my rug seer behalwe as dit stamp.
