I've just returned from a 5000km Namibia trip that was great as usual, even though the roads were not good at all....however early on in the trip and most of the last two days whilst returning home my bike would not gear down from 6th to 1st as is usually the case...
I felt the gear change had become "tighter" and the gear lever needed a "flick" from the boot to enable the lower gear to be engaged. Both the last two days were 450km days at 140km indicated.
Has anyone had any similar symptoms ..? ... spoke to George Yam today but they have no knowledge of this issue.
