Selling some of my bikes and the ones I don’t use that much has to go first. Due to not having much time to ride these day I ussualy take one of the newer (read faster) ones. When I started working there was one for sale at a shop close to where I stayed. Couldn’t afford it then and always haunted me
I bought it in 2015. Did a restoration project in 2016. It was taken apart conpletely. There is a thread somewhere
Everything from the frame was resprayed
New golden rims and spokes from Superfoxi
New bearings and bushes in wheels and suspension
Front shocks serviced
All plastics and seat still good
The wiring was in a very good condition
Radiators serviced and sprayed by Silverton in Bloemfontein
The spray work of the tank and all plastics were not very good from the beginning and has taken some shots now. I would have respeayed this if I kept the bike. I also noticed the rear subframe that mounts on the frame is a bit bent to the side. The side stand’s light lense popped out on a recent trip and the spedometer has not been working the last 1000km or so. A plastic gear in pickup or something that gets worn
Recently the key ignition does not make contact first time you turn the key. With a little wiggle, it comes on. So just a bad contact somewhere.
The carburators were recently cleaned and tuned by Superfoxi. He was impressed with the acceleration for its age.
Engine is still good and sounds great with the Bosson pipe I bought it with
