I saw today that there is a prediction the petrol price are coming down by about 42c next month. As someone who commutes 55km per day by bike which is far better than a cage, I am trying to understand which is better, that the price per barrel of oil or the rand dollar exchange rate that comes down. There are 159 liters in a barrel of oil. For us what would be more beneficial and I tried to do some sums and came out with similar answers so I am sure I am doing something wrong. It must be looked at in a percentage decrease in the calculation. Just been thinking about this as we all would love to ride more if the fuel prices where better! It will also affect tire prices as well.
