best oil again

Sorry for the return of the oil sagga I'm new to the klr and need to service mine. I used shell helix in my vehicles after seeing two identical engines with same milage stripped using 2 diff brands the helix engine was much cleaner. If bike has 25000 kms do I keep oil spec the same or change viscosity. Any advice on oil aditives that need to be added if any. Bike serviced every 5000kms.
