So I have decided that I want to sell or swop my bike. I am open to offers above R35, 000.00 for my bike and am in no hurry to sell so I will wait for the right offer.
I will consider swopping for an XT660R in similar condition and with similar mileage.
The reason for me wanting to sell or swop is that my bike is a bit high for me due to the longer suspension travel of the USD forks and I am looking for something lower.
The bike is registered as a code 3 rebuild. The reason is that when I bought it, it had a front smash in which the front rim and forks were fubared, hence the conversion to KX USD front end and the bike was totally rebuilt from scratch
My bike is a 2008 model and has done +- 28000km and the following has been done to it:
Doohickey and Deep hole prevention has been done with genuine Eagle Mike products
Exhaust cam advanced and de-smogged
Has been bored to 0.5mm oversize
New bigger aftermarket radiator fitted
Full Upside down front shocks conversion done
Stronger back spring fitted
New DID chain and sprockets (16/43) fitted less than 350km ago
Braided brake lines front and back
Givi Crash bars and Pannier racks
Pro Taper handlebars and risers fitted
New set of stainless steel front spokes fitted
Have converted from the new shape to a fugly (plastics and fairing)
One of a kind hydro graphics dip done on the bike
Has an aftermarket FX1 exhaust canister on
Motobatt sealed gel battery
Small led flickers fitted back and front
Aftermarket Off-road foot pegs
Regularly serviced and oil changed before and after rides and does not use excessive oil
Licensed and registered on my name and up to date
The only problem is that the tyres needs to be replaced
