"Bike gear" panniers?

has anyone got any experience with the 'bikegear' aluminium pannier system (under hard luggage, on the bikegear site advertised on our forum- www.bikegear.co.za )??
I'm wanting it for pretty hectic offroad ability touring and wondering if it will shape up?
It's for a mates 650 dakar......
