Biker hit Traffic cop on RH Shoulder of highway ??

I received a msg this morning asking whether I am fine< as a biker had apparently hit and badly injured a traffic officer while travelling in the right hand shoulder of the freeway , between William Nichol and Malibongwe.

Anybody have any additional info
