Bikes that threaten to pull you from the dirt side...

Being someone who can only afford 1 bike, every now and again a bike comes along that threatens to pull me away from dirt, i.e., a road bike, that is so nice I would seriously consider buying it, knowing it'd be tar only for the forseeable future...
